Delicious ramen and apps, such rich ramen and nice variety of pork in each bowl. Marinated eggs are on point

I did not have high expectations since I just wanted a quick bite, but this place is such a steal, especially for their black garlic lobster ramen with pork that I got! I have never gotten so much meat in ramen, the noodle were perfect, and the flavors were amazing. The tempura was very fresh and delish too.
I went on a weekday night, so only 1 other table was there, so the food came out very quickly. The restaurant itself looks like its a bit older, but it doesn't matter since the food is so good. I will definitely be coming back the next time I crave ramen since this is my favorite ramen in the city so far.

Updated review 3/11/2022: 21 Taste House is still my favorite ramen restaurant in this part of the city. Their broth is cooked for 10+ hours and I can taste it. The things I love about 21 Taste House are: no 30 minute + wait times, food is always awesome and a fast kitchen. Tonight I had the original pork flavor tonkotsu ramen $13 and chicken karaage $6. The pork pieces were tender and very good. Egg was jelly. I did enjoy the chicken karaage. Great job everyone at 21 Taste House.
Original review: Chinese owned Japanese ramen restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised. The chef spent a lot of time on the broth and it shows. The flavor reminds me of the good ramen joints in Hong Kong. Well, if I compared this restaurant to the ones in Japan, it is a couple of notches below those, but this place is better than some places in San Mateo and SF Japantown. I had their lobster pork flavor tonkontsu ramen $12.50. It had three generous pieces of roasted pork, ground pork, pork shoulder. It was perfectly cooked and very soft. The black fungus was mixed with cabbage and lettuce. It is not typical to have cabbage and lettuce in ramen and it doesn't mix well with the broth. The 1/2 marinated egg was delicious. Minor tip: skip the shrimp temura $6. The batter is not light enough. It is too bad no one else was dining tonight indoors. The ramen was spot on. I will be back.

We stopped in just by chance for dinner. Were thinking of getting burgers next door, but we couldn't pass on a chance for ramen!
So glad we went in. The hostess was the sweetest (especially to our 2 year old).
My partner and the little one shared the beef ramen. Baby LOVED the noodles, and waste them by the fistfull! Beef broth was clean and seasoned/salted nicely.
I had the Tokyo TanTan Style Ramen - never had those 2 things combined! Love them both separately, and it was genius together. Nice spiciness, soft salty pork belly and great peanut-y broth. Very creamy and filling.
Oh and the Combo Tempura was great too!
Absolute gem of a place. Not crowded on Tuesday evening. So happy we found it!

This is our FAVORITE authentic ramen shop. Excellent gyoza, and options. Tonkotsu ramen here is the best I’ve had outside of Japan!
